2007 Honorees - W. S. Brown & Harry Hollien

The American Association of Phonetic Sciences is happy to announce the inaugural awardees of the Honors of the Association; W. Sam Brown and Harry Hollien. Both of these individuals have played important roles in creating and nurturing this Association and have strongly contributed to the phonetic sciences through their teaching, mentoring, research, and service. Congratulations to these two well deserving individuals.

The 2007 Honorees were announced at the AAPS Meeting in Boston. Proclamations for both Dr. Brown and Dr. Hollien were read and placques awarded.
